Job Title: Domestic Cleaner
Reports To: Supervisor / Operations Manager
Location: Client sites as allocated within Domestic Pro Service’s operating areas
Job Purpose
To provide high-quality cleaning and sanitation services to Domestic Pro Service clients in residential and commercial environments. The role ensures cleanliness, hygiene, and a professional standard of service that reflects the company’s values.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, offices, and living spaces as per service schedules.
- Handle laundry, linen changes, and upholstery cleaning where required.
- Ensure proper use, care, and safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Replenish consumables (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.) where applicable.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Follow health and safety standards, company policies, and client-specific requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and respect in client premises.
- Promote Domestic Pro Service’s products and value-added services when interacting with clients.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Consistently meeting cleaning quality standards.
- Adherence to allocated schedules and timeframes.
- Positive client feedback and service ratings.
- Proper and safe use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Contribution to sales of cleaning products and add-on services (where applicable).
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in professional cleaning (residential, commercial, or hospitality) preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safe handling practices.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, polishers, steamers, etc.).
- Basic literacy and communication skills.
